Exhibition “Whistleblowers” at the European Night of Museums

During the Night of Museums at the Liepaja University Art Research Laboratory, MPLab the exhibition “Whistleblowers” will be open to public. The exhibition will inform the viewer of the importance of whistleblowers in the modern media space – full of propaganda, fake news and post-truth.

The works and installations displayed at the exhibition show the reactions to the society’s apathy and media companies’ calculations by buying and selling the audience of like-rs and click-ers. In the exhibition the visitors will see the politically active and humorous tactical installations of “Lāčplēsis Technology”, Peteris Riekstins and Kaspars Lēvalds will complement the video-mapping projects.
