Organisation ASTE was founded on January 23, 2019.
Aims:
- To organize and implement regional and international cultural and educational activities in the fields of new media art and sound art.
- To make a significant contribution to the development and distribution of Latvia’s new art in public exhibitions and cultural events.
- Promote media literacy for school age children and young people.
Tasks:
- To organize and support various forms of art and culture.
- To cooperate with the state and municipal institutions, non-governmental organizations, other legal entities and individuals both Latvian and abroad.
- To attract public, private and other financial resources to achieve the organisations goals.
- To carry out informative and educational work to increase public knowledge.
